Our learning material is unique in that it presents and discusses the topics of the National Core Curriculum ESL subject “Civilization of the English-speaking Countries” interactively, with a focus on competence development.

In addition to the grade-specific presentation of up-to-date texts and facts, the material also provides a series of interactive exercises for learning and vocabulary development. Various project tasks help develop compositional, analytical, and debating competences, while they guide the students in processing information and give an opportunity for cooperative and collaborative learning, as well as language development. Each topic includes several games, puzzles, and quizzes, which help the assessment of knowledge acquisition. Our fundamental aim is to motivate students and boost their interest in the culture and lifestyle of the English-speaking countries.
